Summary The Rangers director general and Sindh inspector general (IG) have been removed from their posts.
Rangers Director General Major Gen Ijaz Chaudhry’s and IG Fayaz Leghari have been removed on the order of the Supreme Court and the Establishment Division in Islamabad have issued a notification in this regard.According to the court, both the officials could have influenced the investigation into Sarfaraz murder case.The Karachi capital police officer has been given the additional charge of the inspector general.
