ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan on Monday said that the mandate of the incumbent government is to clean the mess left by the previous governments.
Speaking on the floor of the Lower House of the Parliament on Monday, he said that whoever want can verify his educational documents, adding that he has always been elected with the votes of people.
The minister said it was on the directions of the Supreme Court that the data of PIA employees inducted over the last ten years was scrutinized.
“The inquiry proved political appointments were made in the national flag carrier in complete violation of merit,” he said and added action will be taken against fake degree holders.
He also regretted that the previous governments destroyed the institutions in the name of democracy.
