Faisalabad is facing an acute shortage of petrol and according to the Faisalabad Petroleum Dealers Association, the petrol supply to the city has been decreased by 80 percent.Long queues of vehicle have been seen at the few petrol pumps in Multan where petrol is available. The absence of petrol is also damaging the business of goods transport and transporters are complaining that the scarcity has hampered their business.The black marketers are making fortunes out of the situation and selling petrol at Rs 150 per litter with no fear of being caught.
