LAHORE (Dunya News) - The bloody game of kite flying continues in provincial capital despite a ban as a 37-year-old man has lost his life due to loss of blood after a kite string slit his throat in the jurisdiction of North Cantt Police Station on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, 37-year-old Shabbir was going on motorcycle when the mishap occurred. Shabbir was immediately rushed to Services Hospital where he died of his wounds during treatment.
Taking notice of the incident, SP Cantt Furqan Bilal suspended SHO Ikramullah of North Cantt Police Station for negligence and carelessness on CCPO s order. On the other hand, another person, identified as Moeen Butt got injured after a kite string wrapped around his neck in Sabzazar area.
