Kharotabad incident: Tajik couple laid to rest

The funeral prayer of Nauman, his wife and infant was offered at Jabal-e-Noor Graveyard. A large number of people and relatives of the victims participated in the funeral prayers.Earlier, the parents of Nauman indentified their son, his wife and grandson, who were killed on May 17 at the Kharotabad check post.Meanwhile, Atta Muhammad, the driver of the vehicle that was carrying the foreigners, changed his statement. He told the investigation tribunal that his first statement was given under police pressure. Dr Baqir informed the tribunal that all the victims were unarmed and died of bullet wounds.
