Summary The threat of cyclone hitting Pakistani shores has subsided.
According to Meteorological Department, the lower wind pressure developing in the Arabian Sea had to change into cyclone but it delayed and diverted to North West.The threat of Cyclone Kella has been subsided.The cyclone would be of medium intensity and it would not hit the Pakistani shores while it would pass near the southern coastal area on Sunday or Monday. Emergency has been declared in fish harbour and the coastal areas.On the other hand, water has entered into 2 graveyards of Thatta due to the rising sea level. The lower wind pressure in 550 kilometres from south east of Karachi is moving towards North.Due to spread of cyclone, rains with winds are expected in Keti Bandar, and Badin from Sunday to Monday, while rain is expected on Monday in Karachi.The Meteorological Department has warned that the fisherman should not venture in the sea on Sunday and Monday while the fishermen in Balochistan can continue their routine work.
