Summary The Punjab government has announced not to take US aid.
According to US official, all those projects that have been launched in the Punjab with the help of US are still in progress and the Punjab government has not made any request to stop the work on these projects.The official also rejected the news that appeared in a section of the press, stating that no threat was given to Punjab chief minister and said that the news misrepresented the facts. He said that US officials in Pakistan often held meeting with Sharif brothers.
