Summary At least 14 children were killed when a school van plunged into canal in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Army and rescue 1122 teams have reached the site near Mirpur after the accident and started rescue operations. According to information, two children and the driver of the van are still missing. The heirs of the victims are also present at the site.According to reports, students of Army Public School, Jairy and Mirpur School were on board the van. The eye-witnesses said that driver’s negligence was the cause of the accident. Upper Jehlum Canal has been shut down to find the missing children.
