Summary Crisis after crisis has become matter of course in Pakistan.

The effects of budget were yet to be felt but Government deprived the citizens of petrol.On the one hand, government has created shortage of petrol, while, long queues of citizens may be observed at filling stations throughout the country, on the other hand.Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad and Muzaffarabad are among the badly affected cities. Most of the filling stations are closed. The citizens are compelled to push their vehicles in scorching heat.Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani while taking notice of the critical situation has ordered the Secretary Petroleum to end the shortage of patrol but in vain.Citizens have been wandering here and there since five days in search of petrol. The same is the case with all the major cities of the country. It is noteworthy that oil companies are not bringing their stock in market despite government orders.According to representative of Petroleum Dealers Association Abdusami Khan, all the companies except PSO are not supplying petrol in proper way which has aggravated the crisis.
