An emergency has been declared in Badin after the reports appeared that 500 fishermen and 50 boats had been missing off the coastline since Thursday morning.According to fishermen in Badin, the missing fishermen had no news of the cyclone whatsoever was brewing in the sea.Had they fishermen known about the imminent cyclone hazards, they would not have gone to the open sea, they said.According to the chief meteorologist, a low air pressure 600-kilometre away from Karachi in the Arabian Sea a couple of days ago is building up into a cyclone which is only now 160 kilometre away of the coastline.
