Summary Shahbaz alleged that the leader used threats and bullying to take what was rightfully of the poor

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Political Communication Dr. Shahbaz Gill has said in a tweet that Pakistan muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Murtaza Abbasi has forcibly acquired more sugar than allowed from a utility store. He alleged that the leader used threats and bullying to take what rightfully belonged to the poor.

Shahbaz said that the products available at utility stores are provided by the government at a lower cost to help the poor and only they have a right over it.

He said in his tweet that the utility stores management has written a letter to the Speaker of the National Assembly complaining about the incident and has demanded the said amount back from Mr. Abbasi. He said that the store was opened to help employees of grades one through five but after the incident, there is no choice left but to close it down.

Dr. Shahbaz Gul said that it is shocking that the PML-N leadership considers it their right to plunder the wealth of the poor, whether it is aid for the earthquake victims or sugar at the relief price for the poor people at the utility store. He said that this will no longer be allowed to happen as this government will protect the poor.
