Summary The Sindh High Court has suspended the cancelation of 264 police officials promotion orders.
A division bench comprising Chief Justice Sindh High Court Musheer Alam and Justice Aqeel Abbasi conducted the hearing of the case.The counsel for 264 appellants including Liaqat Lashari, Barister Zameer Ghumro argued before the court that the decision of cancellation of promotion orders of 264 Head Constables, Sub-Inspectors and Assistant Sub-Inspectors issued by Sindh Police Inspector General was illegal and unjustified.He pleaded the court to suspend the decision and validate the promotion orders.
