During the visit, Zalmai Khalilzad is expected to meet with Pakistan s top political and military leadership.
According to sources, he will brief the Pakistani civilian and military leadership on the progress made so far in the peace deal with the Afghan Taliban.
Matters pertaining to Pak-US relations and the situation in the region will also be discussed.
