ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The government on Tuesday issued a notification of Retirement Rules 2020 under which officers involved in corruption will be given premature retirement, Dunya News reported.
According to notification, the government officers who entered into plea bargains with National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and officers who do not perform will also be given premature retirement.
The notification said that retirement board and retirement committees would be set up for this purpose. Retirement board would be constituted for Grade-20 and above government officers while retirement committees would be formed for officers from grade-17 to grade-19. A separate retirement committee will be set up for employees of grade-16 and below.
