Senate body seeks details of Pakistanis punished with death in KSA

Summary Senates Sub-Committee on Foreign Affairs has sought the details of Pakistanis case in Saudi Arabia.

A meeting of the committee was held at Foreign Ministry under the chair of Senator Talha Mahmood.The meeting sought the details of a case of death sentence to 3 Pakistanis by a Saudi court despite the payment of Diaat.Talking to media after the meeting, Talha said that about 7,000 Pakistanis were in jails of different countries.A cell has been established in Foreign Ministry for their release and bringing them back to the country, Talha added.He said that 219 Pakistanis were in Chinese prisons out of which 159 have been charged with smuggling.
