PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – At least 245 persons were taken in to custody by police in Peshawar for violating Section 144 imposed to curb spread of coronavirus, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
According to details, police conducted operation in Peshawar Saddar, Charsadda Road, GT Road and other areas and arrested 245 persons for violating Section 144.
Police sources said that most of the persons who were detained were shopkeepers who opened their shops despite of lockdown imposed to stem the spread of the coronavirus.
