Summary Delegation will visit Iran soon to import 100MW, says PEPCO General Manager M Khalid.
Addressing a press conference, Khalid said that 3,320MW power has been added in the system for last three years. About 10,000MW electricity would be added in the system in next five years, which would help reduce load shedding, he added. However, he refused to give date for total end to load shedding. He stated that PEPCO was providing electricity at Rs 7.08 per unit while its cost Rs 9.60 per unit.
