Ramzan moon likely to be sighted on April 24

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Ramzan moon is likely to be sighted on April 24 as the moon will be 5 degrees below the horizon on April 23, Dunya News reported on Saturday.

According to details, the moon is likely to be sighted on April 24 in Pakistan as well as most of other countries across the world where the new lunar month begins after moon sighting.

Muslims in Pakistan and most of other countries will observe fast on April 25. The birth of the moon will occur on Thursday morning, April 23, across the world.

The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meeting will be held on April 23 in Pakistan and the decision pertaining to moong sighting will be made after testimonies.
