Summary Multan Corps Commander ruled out any terrorist link in Punjab Rangers copter crash in Layyah.
Lt General Shafqaat visited the place of accident and said that no proof of terrorism was found during the operation.The search operation is underway in Indus River under Pak Army’s supervision which has been expanded from Taunsa Barrage to Guddu Barrage.So far, three dead bodies have been recovered and two have been identified as Lt Colonel Amir Abbas and Captain Asif Nawaz.DNA test of the third dead body is being conducted. The operation continued today to search the fourth dead body.DG Rangers Major General Muhammad Nawaz, pilot Lt Colonel Amir Abbas, ADC Captain Asif Nawaz and Sobedar Abdullah were travelling in the helicopter.
