Foreign Office spokesperson Tehmina Janjua has said that a decision to launch an army operation in North Waziristan will be taken in the best interest of the nation.In her weekly briefing to the media, Tehmina said that Pakistan was taking part in the war on terror for its own interest.The spokesperson expressed her satisfaction over the talk process with India, saying that Pak-India foreign secretaries-level talks on peace, security and Kashmir would be held soon. She said that Pakistani officials had not been given access to David Headley, adding that she could not comment on this case.She also expressed her inability to comment on the statement of Indian defence minister. She said that President Asif Ali Zardari would leave for Kazakhstan on June 25 to participate in Shanghai Cooperation Organisation meeting.To a question, she said that she could not comment on the defence agreement between India and Afghanistan without going through its details. She said all the details of Afghan transit trade had been finalised. She said that the government was in touch with the Russian embassy on the Kharotabad incident.
