Summary Rain has brought respite in main areas of Punjab whereas scorching heat still persists in Sindh.
Meteorological Department has predicted more rains particularly in upper Punjab within next 24 hours. During last 24 hours.in Gujranwala 39 mm rain was recorded, whereas 17mm at Sialkot, 16 mm at Bannu,14 at Faisalabad, 10 at Sargodha, 8 at Mandi Bahauddin and 6 in Balakot, Garhi Dopatta and Lahore.The department has further predicted that heat wave would continue in Upper Punjab whereas weather would remain partly cloudy along with coastal areas of lower Sindh.
