Summary The Finance Ministry refused to provide information to the standing committee about budget taxes.
A meeting of the National Assembly standing committee on finance was held under the chair of Fauzia Wahab.The matters regarding new budget were reviewed during the meeting.According to the sources, the committee members demanded of the finance ministry to inform them about the steps regarding budget taxes.The finance ministry authorities said that the information could not be shared with the parliamentarians prior to the budget. On this, Bushra Gohar of ANP walked out of the meeting in protest. Talking to media, Bushra said that the bureaucracy was being given priority on the parliamentarians in the preparation of the upcoming budget.
