Summary The FIA has not been given the representation in the joint probing team of the PNS Mehran attack.
The federal government had constituted a joint investigation team to probe the PNS Mehran attack and initially the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials were also included in the team.But the notification issued by the federal government did not name any FIA official as member of the joint probing team.Being sidelined, the FIA did not conduct any investigation into the incident.According to sources, verbal orders were issued to include an FIA official into the joint probing team but no notification was issued in this regard.
