Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani told Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen that cooperation between the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) would only exist on equality basis.General Kayani told Admiral Mike Mullen about the reservations regarding the Abbottabad operation and informed him about the unanimously passes resolution.General Kayani also told him that the US would not carry out any high value target operation in Pakistan. Instead the US would only provide information and Pakistan would carry out the operation.
