Summary DNA tests of militants who attacked PNS Mehran base are being conducted.
Probe body also recorded statements of 20 naval base officials. The investigation team working under Rear Admiral Tehseenullah includes officials of FIA, Airforce, Rangers, Police and intelligence agencies.The team has begun recording the statements of officials on duty the day base was attacked. Team also recorded the statements of those who left after performing their duties on the same day. The team will also talk to the injured officials of the Pak Navy and Rangers.Dead militants DNA tests are also being conducted to ascertain their nationality. Militants’ bodies are in Edhi Centre where no one came to identify them.
