The political parties could not decide awarding of tickets to their candidates first time in the history of Azad Kashmir.Several candidates including former prime minister Raja Farooq Haider submitted their nomination papers as independent candidates.The big political parties of Azad Kashmir including People’s Party, Muslim League-N and Jamat-i-Islami could not finalise their candidates even on last date of the submission of nomination papers.Most of the candidates are submitting their nomination papers as independent contenders.The nomination papers of AJK Prime Minister Sardar Attique Ahmad Khan have also been submitted in his constituency Dhirkot, however, he himself did not appear for the process.
