Summary Central Selection Board and Departmental Selection Board’s share has increased from 15 to 30 percent
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Federal government has issued Civil Servants Rules 2019 with increased powers for Selection Boards.
According to documents acquired by Dunya News, government has reduced marks of Performance Report by 10%, Training Evaluation Report by 5% and Performance Evaluation Report marks by 20%. Central Selection Board and Departmental Selection Board’s share has increased from 15 to 30 percent.
Officers serving in underdeveloped areas will be preferred for promotion and instead of Performance Evaluation Report. The decision of Selection Board will be the sole criteria for promotion, according to new rules.
Additional points will be granted to officers serving in government training institutions.
