Summary PNS Mehran is Pakistans first naval airbase which was established in September 26, 1975.
Its objective was to assist naval ship’s operations. On Sunday at the time of militants attack there were 11 Chinese and 4 US engineers who were immediately saved. The stock of Harpoon missiles used to destroy warships was also there. The militants damaged two P3C Orion planes.
