Quetta: CCPO replaced after suspicious killing of five Chechens

After the suspicious shootout in which five Chechens were killed, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Quetta Dawood Junejo’s status has been converted to On Special Duty (OSD).A tribunal has been formed on the instruction by the Chief Minister Balochistan, to probe into the killing that occurred on May 17. The tribunal would be led by Balochistan High Court Judge Justice Muhammad Hashim Kakar. After completing their report, the tribunal would submit it to the Chief Minister Balochistan.On the other hand, the bomb disposal Squad in their reports said that they did not recover any suicide jackets although they seized on grenade clip and two levers from the scene. The body of the Chechens killed in shootout is at the Bolan Medical Complex. The post mortem report would be presented tomorrow.
