Summary SCBA President Asma Jahangir said that democracy has still not been established in the country.
Opposing the decision of the Supreme Court on the PCO judges, Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) president Asma Jahangir said that it was not justified to depose the judges on weak complaints.Addressing a Hyderabad Bar council and Human Right Commission of Pakistan rally, Asma Jahangir said that a formula has be devised for the appointment of judges. She said that the judiciary is not free yet.Asma Jahangir said that the resolution passed by the Parliament is misleading. She said that democracy has still not been established in the country and the decisions were still being made by military establishment.
