Summary Malik said that Pakistan has taken action against drug barons including hawala business.
Executive Director of the UN Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED) Mike Smith called on Interior Minister Rehman Malik and thanked for the cooperation being extended by Pakistan government in formulating a strategy to fight against ‘hawala’ business.Talking to Mike Smith, Malik said that Pakistan has taken action against drug barons including ‘hawala’ business. Due to effective measures of the government, remittances through legal channels have been increased, Malik added.
