QUETTA (Dunya News) – Rain water flooding in parts of Balochistan is causing loss of life and properties as a woman and a minor boy were killed during rain related incidents.
As per details, two women were injured in rain incidents while the metrological department has predicted more rains in the province.
PDMA said the heavy rains damaged properties while dozens of animals were drowned in the flood water.
Washak and Chaghi district were damaged by the rain and survey to analyze damages is being conducted.
The weather has turned cold after these rains in Balochistan.
Met department said widespread wind-thunderstorm/rain, with few moderate to isolated heavy falls, is expected in all districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore and Faisalabad), Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir from Wednesday to Sunday.
While scattered rain/thunderstorm is also expected in all districts of D.G.Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur and Sahiwal from Wednesday (Evening) to Saturday.
Scattered wind-thunderstorm/rain is expected in districts of Balochistan from Wednesday (Evening) to Friday.
Wind-thunderstorm/rain is expected at scattered places in all districts of (Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirbad, Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad and Karachi) from Wednesday (Evening) to Saturday.
Hail-Windstorm is also expected at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, North Balochistan and Upper Sindh during the period.
