NEW YORK (Dunya News) - Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi met Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on the sidelines of the 74th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session in New York and discussed Kashmir issue and regional peace.
On the occasion, FM Qureshi expressed that that way Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan raised his voice against the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir on the floor of the UN General Assembly, it has encouraged the oppressed Kashmiris.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi thanked the Turkish counterpart for the full support of Turkey in the unanimous declaration regarding the occupied Jammu and Kashmir at the OIC Contact Group meeting.
Both Foreign Ministers agreed to continue their joint efforts for peace and stability in the region.
