Summary Power shortfall has reached 1940MW, IPPs producing 7,180 MW.
Despite decrease in the electricity shortfall, power cuts go on with same duration. According to sources, now the country is producing 13,773MW and short fall has reached about 1,940MW. But the loadshedding duration still ranges from 8 to 10 hours in urban areas and 8 to 10 in rural areas.
