Summary Bill to protect minorities in Pakistan was unanimously approved in the Sindh Assembly.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Khurram Sher Zaman exchanged heated argument with Sindh Minister Mukesh Kumar Chawla and the Speaker on the matter of members attending the Sindh Assembly session through production orders.
Ruckus was created in the Assembly session when Khurram Sher tried to talk about the members attending the session through the production orders. The Speaker stopped the PTI members from speaking in the House.
Meanwhile, Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) member Nand Kumar Goklani presented a resolution for the security and protection of minorities after the Ghotki incident, which was unanimously approved.
Private bills presented by opposition members Arif Mustafa Jatoi and Omar Omari were rejected in the House.
Moreover, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) member Rana Ansar introduced a private bill to revise education standards and curriculum in Sindh which was handed over to the Select Committee for consideration.
