Summary Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the Foreign Office should play its role regarding external affairs.
Talking to the media at Multan airport, Shah Mahmood said that Pak-US relations have been suspended. The US cannot maintain peace in Afghanistan without Pakistan; he said.Qureshi said that the government should understand that every country sets its priorities. Nobody in Pakistan wants conflict with America, however, both the countries would have to normalise relations to bring peace in the region, he said.He said that it was unfair to declare his questions irrelevant in the in-camera session.
