Summary Gilani has said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has not come to power from backdoor.
Addressing a public meeting in Muzaffarabad, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said that fair and impartial elections would be ensured in Azad Kashmir while the budget allocations for the Azad Kashmir prime minister would not be slashed. He said that Pakistan was still fighting for Kashmir.He said that the PPP was the biggest party in Pakistan and it had no interest in pulling down governments (in Kashmir). He said that Pakistan wanted to cooperate with world powers on equal terms. Pakistan had sacrificed thousands of lives in war on terror, he said.The prime minister said that PPP workers sacrificed more than its leaders, adding that the PPP government had consolidated the national institutions. He said that production capacity of electricity would be enhanced in Azad Kashmir.
