LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday expressed serious concern over the increasing numbers of dengue patients in Punjab saying “incompetent and unqualified leaders endangered the lives of people”.

She said that due to the negligence of the Punjab government, the number of dengue affected patients has crossed 683 while neither any remedy has been sought nor any action has been taken to prevent it.

PML-N leader criticized the leaders of Punjab saying that they are playing with lives of the people. “The Punjab government is so incompetent that they could not even implement on the dengue extermination system of Shehbaz Sharif and put the lives of civilians at risk”, she added.

Marriyum Aurangzeb asserted that people are remembering Shehbaz Sharif now who exterminated the dengue on emergency basis. “Outbreak would not have happened if they had implement Shehbaz Sharif‘s system for prevention,” she added.

She said that if serious measures were not taken to control dengue in Punjab, other provinces would also be affected by this misery.

PML-N spokesperson expressed that all the plans of former Chief Minister have been terminated in envy and jealousy. Rulers even failed to meet the standards of Shehbaz Sharif’s plan to overcome the problem, she added.
