Summary A police assistant sub-inspector was shot dead in PIDC Bridge area of Karachi on Wednesday.
According to police, ASI Ikhlaq was having meal with his subordinate in a restaurant near PIDC Bridge when unidentified men opened fire. The ASI was killed in the firing while a constable was injured. The perpetrators fled. The PIDC is considered one of the most sensitive areas of Karachi but surprisingly the perpetrators were able to flee easily.Police have started investigation into the matter.
