PML-N could not evolve strategy on Abottabad operation

A joint meeting of the central body of PML-N and its parliamentary committee continued for four hours in Islamabad in which the members gave their suggestions regarding the post-Abbottabad situation.Majority of the members suggested that PML-N should play the role of a real opposition otherwise the nation will not forgive it.The members also suggested the party to launch a public contact campaign.According to the sources, the members also suggested that only the intelligence agencies should not be criticised but the party should also question the government why it was not involving the civil institutions to probe the incident.Speaking on this occasion, Nawaz Sharif said that PML-N will have to play an important role regarding the issue of Abbottabad operation.Talking to Dunya News after the meeting, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said that the statement regarding the resignation of Makhdoom Javed Hashmi and PPP-PML-Q alliance were not discussed during the meeting.
