Summary NATO secretary general has urged the Western countries to help Pakistan in fighting terrorism.
While addressing the World Affairs Council in Atlanta, United States, the NATO secretary general, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, said that the international community had no other way than to help Pakistan. He urged the Western countries to help Pakistan in eliminating terrorism regardless of the fact that Osama was found there. He praised the role of Pakistan Army in fighting terrorism at the Pak-Afghan border.Rasmussen said that the international community should have helped those Pakistanis who were actively playing their role in fighting militants and terrorists.
