QUETTA (Dunya News) - Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said the state affairs mainly depend on economy by economic situation of Pakistan is poor. He said all political parties want elections in the country so this government must step down otherwise opposition would march towards Islamabad in October.
Addressing to the participants of the Million March, Fazl said that the march was the last one, adding that the next one would be towards the federal capital.
The JUI-F chief noted that if the federal government did not step down by August, it would not be able to save themselves from the Opposition s march..
Fazl spoke of how the 2018 general elections were rigged, adding that he did not accept these results. All political parties desire fresh elections, he said, adding that on the one hand, there is soaring inflation while on the other government is increasing burden of taxes on people.
He said people’s mandate was stolen a year ago and rejected people were forced to rule public.
Fazl also slammed the new requirement of presenting the national identity card (CNIC) for purchases worth more than Rs50, 000. He said this is not a documented economy but a "foreign agenda".
