Summary Shah Mehmood Qureshi has demanded president and prime minister to resign over Abbottabad operation.

The Pakistan People’s Party leader and former Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, declared the Abbottabad operation as aggression against Pakistan and said that the prime minister and the president had not been able to protect the country’s sovereignty.Talking to the media at the Lahore Press Club, Qureshi hailed the Army Chief’s decision to hold an inquiry into the Abbottabad operation and proposed to entrust the headship of the inquiry to the Parliamentary Committee on National Security. He said that if the Director General ISI was found incautious on this matter then action must also be taken against him.Qureshi said that he regretted that neither the president nor the prime minister took the nation into confidence. He said that if the president could write an article in a US newspaper then why not he could address his nation.Qureshi urged the president and the prime minister that it was time to save the country, not the office.
