Summary Record of DFID is only with the department not with Punjab government: SAPM

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on accountability Mirza Shaehzad Akbar said the picture shown by Marriyum Aurangzeb was taken prior to general elections and it was tweeted from PTI account. Mirza challenged Shehbaz Sharif for filing a lawsuit against him in UK court.

Talking exclusively in Dunya News program Ikhtlafi Note, he said the story of Sharif family’s corruption published in Daily Mail contains both mine and Suleman Shehbaz’ point of view.

He said record of DFID is only with the department not with Punjab government and it is a serious allegation. He said David Rose can tell about the fact, adding that Aftab Mehmood is in Judicial custody while story also has names of Qasim Qayum and Fazal Dad.

Former Punjab CM and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday while declaring the story fabricated and misleading decided to file a law suit against Daily Mail.

Leader of the opposition in National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif took to the twitter and said that the fabricated and misleading story was published at the behest of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Shahzad Akbar, adding that we will also launch legal proceedings against them.

He went on to say that, “Btw Imran Khan has yet to respond to three such cases I filed against him for defamation.”
