Summary Supreme Court has given 1-week deadline to withdraw notification of probing team's transfers.
A four-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the Hajj corruption case. The Chief Justice remarked that Rs 46 crore have not been recovered as yet.Federation’s lawyer Abdul Hafiz Pirzada maintained before the court that the transfers of the probing officers are still to be suspended and the prime minister will give its approval.The court gave one-week time to the government for the withdrawal of transfer notification of FIA officials Javed Bukhari and Hussain Asghar.The court later adjourned the hearing till May 13.
