According to officials, eight missiles were fired in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan, killing at least 15 people, besides injuring four others on Friday.The pilotless predators targeted a car and a house, which were turned into rubble after the attack.The locals started the rescue operation and shifted the injured to a hospital. The deceased have not been identified yet.The locals reported that the drone was flying over the area since morning that triggered panic among the locals.The US has carried out hundreds of drone strikes in tribal regions bordering Afghanistan. Washington says the attacks target pro-Taliban militants but thousands of civilians have been killed since the drone attacks started in 2005.CIA director Leon Panetta has recently said the US has no intention of stopping the attacks.
