ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition parties have expressed concerns on the rising price of US dollar against Pakistani rupee and decided to raise the issue in National Assembly. Opposition said this hike is damaging national economy badly.

A meeting of parliamentary party of opposition held under the chair of opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif. Bilawal Bhutto did not attend the meeting. PPP’s Khursheed Shah complained against the absent members of PML-N in the assembly. Shah said 16 out of 20 absent members belong to PML-N while 4 belong to PPP.

Shehbaz expressed resentment over the absence of PML-N members despite being there in parliament house during the voting in the session. He advised the lawmakers to make sure their presence in the assembly.

The meeting also discussed the strategy to not let government get approval of the budget. Opposition leader took members into confidence over the decisions made in APC.
