Summary Khurshid Shah told that 20 members skipped yesterday’s important session.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday has expressed resentment over the absence of opposition members in NA session.

During the meeting of parliamentary party, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Khurshid Shah told that 20 members skipped yesterday’s important session. 16 Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and four PPP leaders were not present in the House at the time of voting, he continued.

Shehbaz Sharif told that he was unable to attend the session due to his participation in All Parties Conference (APC) and asked other absent members where were they at the time of voting.

He further strictly directed the opposition leaders to ensure their presence in every NA session.

Meanwhile, the participants also held final consultation over the decisions taken in APC and also deliberated on the constitutional complications regarding change of Senate chairman.
