ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaisar met opposition leader of Afghanistan Gulbadin Hikmat Yaar. Both leaders discussed Pak- Afghan relations, political and economic situation of the region.
As per details, Speaker said Pakistan wants to see a peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan that is inevitable for the progress of the region.
He said both sides of the border share common religion, history, culture and long-term relations as neighbors. He said Pakistan supports all efforts for peace in Afghanistan.
Afghanistan’s Gulbadin Hikmat Yaar on the occasion praised efforts of Pakistan for stable Afghanistan. He said Afghan nation thanks Pakistan for hosting it over a long period of time.
He said all participation of all stakeholders in Afghan peace process is necessary. He said Pakistan and Afghanistan have close relations.
