All Pakistan Oil Tankers Association strike against hike in oil prices continued for the second day running. The oil supply remained suspended to whole country and serious shortages are on the card. The association is of the view the price hike has created serious problems for them to continue the service. After the deadlock in talks, an indefinite strike has been announced by the transporters. Power producers are also not getting the supply of furnace oil. Most of the petrol pumps have already ran out of supply and strike will further aggravate the situation, they association warned. The government so far has not contacted the strikers.
